Thanks, Miss Sassy Pants, Coastal Wind, and the soon-to-be Des Drinks Wine (you heard it hear 1st!). Thanks a lot. You have been the object of my blog envy for some time now, and although I haven't had anything very interesting to say I've so wanted to rejoin the coveted ranks of blogger extraordinaire like these fine folks have been/are/will be (in case you'd like to visit the 1st two, they're here and here). But in order for me to begin a new blog, like a proper pain au chocolat, I needed to be at a certain place in order to consume them both... France.
And so I have been there again, and my stories from my most recent trip will hopefully be the launching pad for much more. We'll all see where this goes, myself included, but we'll start with the trip to Champagne and Paris - partly for my own memories, partly to share, and partly so that I don't have to tell it over and over a bunch of times (ok, so I'm 1/3 cynic, sue me).
So consider this the foreword of a blogging novel, and let's have a literary toast to it - I'll bring the champagne.
